Spanish Property Disasters and How to Steer Clear of them

Filed under: Real Estate Parlor @ 5:34 pm

There have been reports of people falling victim to Spanish property purchases that could have been prevented by obtaining professional advice. Enclosed are horror stories of Spanish properties and ways to avoid them. When a development was being built, a couple bought a home there only to find that shortly before the development was finished, the development company went bankrupt. They had to purchase it to avoide their property from being taken by the bank. Even though there was an outstanding mortgage it was left payable to the bank instead of transferring over to the new owners of the deed. A family lost their home to the bank and couldn’t get it back even with a huge loan. Even though the lady purchased the land with no road, they would not pay her for the land they used to make the road. The regional government has no obligation to communicate with the new owner after the purchase since the property was officially registered as land alone, as opposed to registering it as property containing a home. One gentleman visited Spain at his own cost to look at a resale property that appeared to be an excellent value. He was not able to obtain the mortgage because the property that he was interested in was not legally registered, which was not realized until after spending money on visits, lawyers, and reservation fees. Another gentleman who was familiar with the village that he was looking into investing a house into, place down deposits on the off plan property. During the construction phase, the first developer went bankrupt, spawning yet another developer that never even finished the project. The project does not meet the current five year build plan for the area and there is no full license and planning granted to the owner or the builder so the project is on permanent hold. All of the above cases could have been avoided entirely with the right advice upfront from a company that works solely on the behalf of the buyer. Many Spanish property buyers should consider hiring professional help like when it comes to home contracts, since you can avoid all of the stress and avoid these problems as mentioned in the previous stories. International Mortgage Solutions based in Marbella offer a full Spanish Property Finding Service that will help you avoid all these problems.

For Wordpress users version 1.5 new feature “Pages”

Filed under: Web of Blogs @ 7:18 pm

After many requests from wordpress users, the latest version of wordpress has a build in option to create static pages. You can use static pages for an about page, contact page, a links page, etc. This dreamhost review page is an example of a stand alone static page. The advantages are that you can add stand alone content to its own page, outside the normal weblog hierarchy. Pages have the same editing options, plug-in functionality and themes as posts. Or you can customize the stand alone page as much as you want. Static pages also help search engine indexing, as opposed to dynamic urls.

The comprehensive overview and instructions are on the wordpress codex “pages” page.

“A Note on Nomenclature

A page can be static or dynamic. Static pages are those which have been created once and do not have to be regenerated every time a person visits it. In contrast, dynamic pages do need to be regenerated every time they are viewed; code for what to generate has been specified by the author, but not the actual page itself. These use extensive PHP code which is evaluated each time the page is visited, and the content is thus generated on the fly, upon each new visit.”

HERBAL CAUTIONS

Filed under: Web of Blogs @ 9:49 pm

Herbal MEdicines online

Herbs are drugs. Using them is not without risk. If you choose to try herbs as a treatment for diabetes symptoms, please do the following:

1. Get the correct herb. If you aren’t absolutely sure of the identity of the herb, don’t use it.

2. Let everyone know. Herbs may effect your other medications. Be sure to tell your health care team which herbs you wish to try.

3. Test only one herb at a time and watch for side effects. Be sure to take it in its recommended dose. If any reactions occur, stop using the herb immediately, and contact your doctor.

4. Read the label. The word “standardized” means that the herb has been processed slightly to assure a guaranteed amount of the active ingredient. Standardized herbs may be a bit more expensive, but at least you will know what you are getting.

5. Monitor your blood sugar levels. Have your doctor check your kidney function on a regular basis. 6. Continue eating healthy and exercising regularly.

An Example of a Business Blog: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Blog

Filed under: Web of Blogs @ 2:31 am

Think of a product or a service that your business provides to customers. This product may requires lots of instructions to assemble, tips to use efficiently, or simply requires lots of questions to be answered before it can be used. What are your options? Provide a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) list on your website, OR write a FAQ Blog.

What will a FAQ Blog achieve that a simple FAQ List on your website cannot achieve?

FAQ Blog may be designed to answer one Frequently Asked Question per day in great details and is properly categorized for easy access. Answer may include some other tips and tricks useful for your customers. This approach can help your customers to become power users of your product / service and in turn become your emissary to the prospective customers.

Typically a Weblog has a comments feature, where a reader may post their comments, questions and appreciation. With proper moderation of comments, FAQ Blog can almost become a Customer Service center on Auto-pilot once there is a good collection of Frequently Asked Questions answered.

This Weblog can ultimately become a detailed and easily searchable manual of your product / service which serves dual purpose of satisfying existing customers and attracts prospective consumers.

Ideal businesses that may opt for FAQ blog are software development companies, consumer product companies, web hosting providers and insurance agents.

Make Money with Your Own Blog

Filed under: Web of Blogs @ 8:02 pm

Well, basically, setting up a blog means that you are creating a little space of your own on the Internet where you can make posts about anything that interests you. Of course, if you are going to be blogging on a variety of topics, the best way to make money with it would be to have different blogs for different topics otherwise your blog will be just one big jumbled mess that nobody would want to read about.

So what topics should you blog on? Well, I would suggest blogging about your own interests or favourite hobbies. There are always people out there who could learn from your specific experience.

Let’s say for instance your favourite passion is your love for dogs. You could blog about anything pertaining to dogs. Do you know how to potty train a dog in a week? Lots of people would love to know how to get their dogs not to do their potty work inside the house :) Or do you have a recipe for a dog biscuit that your dog absolutely adores? There are lots of people who absolutely adore their dogs - I am one! And they do a lot of searches on the topics of dogs, cats, puppies, kittens etc. So why not make some money out of sharing your own knowledge to help those people? Share your tips with them and they will just love you for it!

So, how would you make money out of having a blog even if you don’t have a product to sell? One word: Adsense. Adsense is a program offered by Google that pays webmasters and blog owners to display Google ads called Adwords on their sites, and if you have a blog that gets many visitors, they will click on the ads which means that you will earn money from it. To learn more about how to apply for and start using Adsense on your own site, visit : Google Ads

Some tips before you apply for the Adsense program:

1. You have to have an existing blog or an existing site.

2. Your website has to have at least 10-15 pages of relevant content. If you have a blog that you want to apply adsense to, you have to have at least 5 or more posts on your blog.

3. Your blog or site must have a clean, easy to use interface. No under construction pages or broken links, or too many animated gifs, or pop ups.

4. You don’t have to have a professionally designed website or blog. The simpler your site is the better for the search engines to spider, and the better it will be for your visitors to navigate.

How to get a blog? You can either have blog that you can host at your own website, like Wordpress Wordpress is an easy to set up php script that is free for download.

Alternatively, you could use any of the free blog services like: Blogger to set up a blog that will be hosted on their server.

So to recap: Select a topic that you would like to blog about, set up a blog, make a couple of posts a day on your blog, wait about 5 days, then apply for the Google Adsense program.

Once you have been approved for Adsense, you should submit your blog or website to the major search engines. If you don’t know the major search engines, do a search for “free website submission”. You will find that there are a lot of sites that will allow you to use their services for free to submit your site or blog to various search engines.

Their are various blog directories that you should also list your blog with. Once again, do a search for blog directories, and submit your site to all the the ones that you can find.

Tell others about your blog, your family and friends etc. Ask them to tell others about your blog. That way you will start getting instant traffic. Just a word of caution: do NOT ask family and friends to click on your adsense ads, and under no circumstances should you click on any of the ads yourself - that is a sure fire way of getting banned by Google and you will have lost a valuable income source!

Now that you know how to start your own blog, you have no excuse not to make money online! Happy blogging!

Blogging Is Not Important - It’s Crucial

Filed under: Web of Blogs @ 10:45 pm

It has been established that having a ‘blog’ helps your web site gain visitors and higher rankings in search engines. But a small study which I have just completed shows that blogging is much more important than this. Blogging appears to be absolutely essential to your web site success. If you are not blogging, your web site will fade into obscurity.

Since blogging took off in the past year or so, there have been several ‘theories’ about it’s importance. Some people have suggested that it will mean the end of journalism, as we all become our own ‘reporters’. Others have predicted it will mean the end of civilisation as we know it. More practically, there have been several well sourced articles which suggest that blogging is a significant component in a web site’s success. Sites that include a blog, the theory goes, will be rewarded by Google with higher positioning on search engine results.

Like all theories, there is only one way to find out if they are true and that is to put them to the test. So, I decided to test the ‘Google ranking theory of blogging’.

My site, http://www.infoselling.com has over 200 pages in it, most of which are indexed by Google. Last week, one of those pages was consistently number one (out of 42,300) for the term ‘infoproduct’. Two other pages in the site were ranked consistently at 12 and 13 (the top two slots on the second results page).

Up until this point I had been writing a daily blog at the site and ‘pinging’ it to the various weblog sites. To test the theory, I stopped writing my blog and then re-checked the results. Five days without blogging has had a significant impact. The page which was number one, is now number six. The pages that were at the top of page two are now at the bottom of page three.

It would appear that no other web pages for the term ‘infoproduct’ have been added to the Google list in the past five days since the number of pages in the results is still 42,300. The only thing that I changed in my site was the blogging.

Now, it’s true that other sites may have changed and that I have suffered as a result. It may not be just the lack of blogging on my part. However, the top two pages are from a site which adds pages on a daily basis - and they were immediately below me while I was blogging away! Hence, whether you add content using traditional techniques, or you blog, the number one rule for maintaining your web site ranking in Google is add content - every day, without fail. As I’ve discovered, even five days can have a dramatic impact. If you are not adding content to your web site every day, you stand a very real chance of losing your place in the Google search results.

Loss of hair is typically hereditary and may target guys as well as girls. The baldness appears due to the hair follicles on the head shrinking and the hair strands dropping out. Hair loss is not a virus and does not directly affect your actual health, although your emotional health might well become affected through stress.

There are three magnificent big treatments for loss of hair, Minoxidil, Finasteride and Strand by Strand from Advanced Hair Studio. Business Blogging — Should it Be A Protected Free Speech Right?

Leading SEO Expert Aaron Matthew Wall Author of SEO Book Sued over Blogging Free Speech Issue.

Blogging has come a long way as it relates to becoming a part of mainstream media. Blogging has more recently been credited with breaking major news stories and influencing major political campaigns.

One of my favorite sources to read on current SEO developments is leading search engine marketer Aaron Matthew Wall. He has recently been commenting on a law suit from a company called Traffic Power.

Quite frankly I don’t know all the issues involved, but I know young Mr. Wall (only 25) to be a straight shooter on what works and doesn’t work in SEO work. People like Aaron are becoming personal brands online because of blogging.

This legal action is some what setting a standard on legal rights and actions brought against bloggers. The right of a blogger to express their opinions about businesses has caught the attention of the Wall Street Journal (obviously not owned by Aaron Wall).

I am a reader of SEO Book and have emailed Aaron Wall on occasion. I even have a review of his book on my site.

>From Aaron’s blog I knew this was brewing for some time. Aaron will praise useful services and also tell others when something is a scam.

As a blogger it is hard to tell where to draw the line. There are so many rip-off traffic companies out there you feel obligated to tell your subscribers.

I don’t know all the issues in the Traffic Power law suit, however I think a person should be able to express their opinion about their business experiences and outlook online.

I see sites advertising and have even experienced some services telling you they will run your ad and get you millions of impressions. Then you discover their Alexa ranking is 3,500,000 and they are putting your ad in rotation with 16 other advertisers.

It would take them forever — and they still couldn’t get you a million impressions! They are just rip-offs and when you let others know to avoid these traffic fraud type companies they get mad and want to sue.

I am doing a lot of testing of different ways to drive lots of targeted traffic to my sites, but 60% of the companies I try are total rip-offs. Many of them I suspect generate traffic bots and not actual people. When we blog our readers expect us to have a personality and give them the inside scoop and our opinion on things. Legal action like this will really make our jobs more challenging to say the least.

Not only are companies trying to sue bloggers for their commentary, but they are also attempting to sue bloggers for feed back left by others on their blog. What is unbelievable about this law suit is Mr. Wall is not only being sued just for his remarks, but also for remarks left by others on his blog!

I think Aaron is courageous in taking a stand for the ability to express his opinion, and the right of his blog users to also state theirs. He is helping to keep the Internet a media of free speech.

I wish Aaron Wall well in his decision to not take his personal or critical commentary down on Traffic Power. He shouldn’t have to feel afraid to state his opinion on web marketing matters, even when some companies don’t approve of their reviews. These companies would do better improving their product and put less time into suing and other forms of intimidation.
